An Assistant Practitioner A podiatry support worker may be trained to foundation degree level to become an assistant practitioner.

These practitioners are eligible for associate membership of the Royal College of Podiatry, provided they meet agreed training and practice levels.

All assistant practitioner training for Podiatry support workers is accredited by the College. In Greater Manchester this training is available at the University of Bolton.
